It contains a small amount of lidocaine (a local anesthetic) to help with any mild discomfort during injections. You can also ask for a topical numbing cream beforehand to remove any possibility of discomfort.
After the Voluma Treatment
Once your Voluma treatment is complete, you will not need to experience any recovery period or downtime. Other than refraining from massaging the area and avoiding excessive exercise, you can resume your day as planned. Experiencing bruising, swelling, and redness at or near the injection site is normal, and these issues will subside on their own.
The results achieved using Voluma can last up to two years. This makes the quick procedure an optimal option over what could otherwise only be achieved through invasive surgeries.
