The Vollure injections themselves will take roughly 15 minutes, depending on the areas you’re treating and the number of injections you’re receiving. The dermal filler is administered beneath layers of the skin using a very small needle.
The injections will contain a small amount of lidocaine, a local anesthetic. Lidocaine helps numb the areas to any pain or discomfort for the duration of the treatment session. If your injection tolerance is low, you can ask for topical numbing cream to be applied beforehand.
After Your Vollure Treatment
As with most injectable cosmetic treatments, there is no downtime or recovery time needed following a Vollure treatment session. You can essentially stop in on a lunch break and resume your workday as planned immediately after.
Bruising, swelling, and redness near the injection site are common and will subside on their own in a matter of hours or days at the most. Avoid massaging the area, exercising, and heat/sun exposure for up to 24 hours to reduce the duration of these side effects.
Results vary from person to person and are dependent on the amount of filler received, as well as the patient’s metabolism. Most people see immediate results that last anywhere from 18 months to two years. In order to maintain results, repeat treatments will be needed over time.
