The Procedure
First, the skin will be cleaned, and then a topical anesthetic will be applied for 30 minutes. The CoolPeel laser and the BBL/IPL light pulses will be used to treat the targeted areas. The patient might feel a sensation similar to that of having a rubber band snapping on their skin, leading to mild discomfort. The treatment ends quickly and provides almost immediate results.
The Recovery Process
CoolPeel Plus requires minimal downtime. You might feel as if you have a sunburn for a day or two, a little itchy, and a bit red. A degree of swelling may be present for a short time. The treated areas might feel scaly and dry for a week during the healing process. You will notice sun damage, freckles, and pigments turning dark before fading away in a week or two.
