You will have a pre-treatment microneedling consultation with your administering medical professional, where they will come up with a treatment plan and go over any pre-procedure instructions.
They will also give you post-treatment care directions to ensure proper healing. For example, avoid using harsh chemicals, makeup, or cleansers on the skin. Remember that your skin is regenerating after a microneedling treatment. Therefore, you will want to be gentle on your skin. Stay hydrated and out of the sun, avoid tanning beds, and avoid vigorous activities such as exercise.
An appointment typically lasts about an hour, with pre-screening and prep time included.
